“Adult Learn to SK8” to Skate

This program is designed for adults who want to feel confident and comfortable on the ice—whether your goal is recreational skating, joining a pickup hockey game, or simply learning a new skill.

Skaters will learn and practice:

  • Basic balance and posture on the ice

  • Forward skating and gliding

  • Stopping safely and with control

  • Turning and basic edge control

  • Introductory backward skating (as skills progress)

No prior skating experience is required. Classes are taught in a supportive, encouraging, and judgment-free environment, allowing adults to learn at their own pace and build confidence step by step.

Perfect for:

  • Adults new to skating

  • Parents who want to skate with their children

  • Beginners preparing to play recreational hockey

  • Anyone returning to skating after time away

It’s never too late to learn—lace up and enjoy the freedom of skating.
