“COLLINGWOOD Conditioning SK8”
Conditioning skates are high-energy ice sessions designed to help hockey players get stronger, faster, and more confident on their skates.
Instead of long-distance skating, skaters work on quick bursts of speed, tight turns, and fast stops and starts—just like they would in a real hockey game.
Each drill is done in short intervals (about 30–45 seconds), followed by a quick rest. This helps build endurance while keeping the sessions fun, active, and game-like.
These sessions are a great way to improve overall skating skills and prepare players for the pace of hockey.
