“Adult Learn to SK8” to Skate
This program is designed for adults who want to feel confident and comfortable on the ice—whether your goal is recreational skating, joining a pickup hockey game, or simply learning a new skill.
Skaters will learn and practice:
Basic balance and posture on the ice
Forward skating and gliding
Stopping safely and with control
Turning and basic edge control
Introductory backward skating (as skills progress)
No prior skating experience is required. Classes are taught in a supportive, encouraging, and judgment-free environment, allowing adults to learn at their own pace and build confidence step by step.
Perfect for:
Adults new to skating
Parents who want to skate with their children
Beginners preparing to play recreational hockey
Anyone returning to skating after time away
It’s never too late to learn—lace up and enjoy the freedom of skating.
