βΈοΈπ βLearn to SK8β (Ages 6 & Up)
Duration: 30/50 minutes. The iLearn to SK8 program helps skaters ages four and up build confidence and improve their skating skills in a fun, structured environment. Participants are divided into two groups β beginner and intermediate β based on age and skill level.
The beginner group focuses on mastering the fundamentals of skating, including balance, posture, forward and backward movement, and stopping. No previous skating experience is required.
The intermediate group continues skill development through gliding, edge control, and the introduction of turns and more advanced maneuvers.
To ensure safety and comfort on the ice, all skaters must wear CSA-approved hockey helmets and use either βΈοΈ figure skates or π hockey skates. This ensures everyone can participate safely while having fun and developing confidence.
The iLearn to SK8 program provides a strong foundation for future skating adventures β whether recreational, figure skating, or hockey.
